Leftbank Project

Commercial Interior + Branding

Portland, Oregon

Revamp and restructure the public lobby area and ground floor Upright Brewing through rebranding and reconfiguration. Transform the shared space into an engaging art gallery featuring a fresh way-finding system, cohesive decor, and branded graphics. Incorporate new design elements to infuse purpose into the space.

Originally known as the Hazelwood Building, this renowned LeftBank structure was meticulously crafted by the esteemed Portland architect, Albert Ernest (A.E.) Doyle, in 1923. With its distinctive triangular shape, it carries a rich legacy, having once housed the legendary jazz club known as The Dude Ranch. The compelling history and narrative surrounding this property serve as our muse and driving force while conceptualizing this space.
